Owned by Peter Sedgwick Jnr, this is the first Maurer Power Tower to be purchased by an English showman. It is open daily at the Liverpool Pier Head Village throughout Summer 2017.
This is one of only two 55m tall towers ever built by Maurer. Built in 1998, the first owner was Kinzler of Germany and the ride was named "KINZLER-TOWER" and then "FREIFALLTURM". The tower was originally painted blue.
The ride was then leased from Maurer to Kipp from 2003 - 2007, where it travelled under the name Action Tower and sported the new white colour scheme. The tower was then refurbished by Maurer in 2008 and has been in storage until it was bought in 2017 by Peter Sedgwick, who has renamed the ride to UK Power Tower.
