In this video, I review the UGOOS SK2 Google TV streaming box and put it through real-world testing, including app performance, system stability, and 4K video playback from a USB drive.

While the UGOOS SK2 offers a clean Google TV interface, support for major streaming apps, voice control, and Chromecast built in, it struggles with local media playback. Despite testing multiple media player apps, the box was unable to play my 4K content from USB, which is a major downside for power users.
I’ve cut back on reviewing Android streaming boxes recently because there’s very little innovation in this space — and unfortunately, the UGOOS SK2 didn’t change that or live up to the standards I expect from UGOOS devices.
If you’re mainly streaming online content, this box may be fine. But if you rely on USB or local 4K media playback, this is one to think twice about.
