Butterow, near Rodborough, September, 2018 - A Stroud resident has supplied a video of what they say is a UFO above Butterow, near Rodborough.
A UFO has been spotted hovering above the Stroud skyline and an eagle-eyed resident has provided us with video evidence. The unidentified flying object was spotted at 3 am one September morning by a Stroud man who happened to be awake.
He described seeing the strange shape, which he managed to capture on video, hovering above the trees just below Rodborough.
"It was both exciting and scary at the same time," he told the Stroud News Journal.
And the night owl, who wished to remain anonymous, said that this isn't the first unexplained object that he has come across in the middle of the night.
"I've seen similar around here before," he said. "They're quite a common sight - I once saw five all at once!"
