With civilians evacuated to the hills, the marines deploy a sci emitter to attract the xenomorphs and set a trap for them. They set up heavy machine gunners and are joined by civilian hunters with high caliber rifles.
The HMG do a lot of heavy lifting here but the civilian riflemen are nearly useless. They can one shot a xenomorph and have very long range but rarely hit their target. What I personally find the most interesting about this, particular simulation is the way the xenomorphs follow the paths discovered by the allies ahead of them. Almost like ants following pheromone trails.
Numbers wise there are roughly 8,000 xenomorphs, 250 marine regulars, 12 HMG and, 24 civilian riflemen.
