Good lighting is the difference between a flat level and a professional environment. In Part 12 of the Unreal Engine 5 Tutorial Series, we enhance our store room by layering detail into our floor and using colored point lights to create a high-tech, cinematic atmosphere.
Youโll learn how to use transparency and metal materials effectively, how to position lights beneath floor grids for a "glow" effect, and a vital performance tip: how and why to disable shadow casting for specific lights.
