Here is my method of getting WiFi access into my detached garage and around the exterior of my property. The backbone of my network is Ubquiti's Unifi platform. On the inside I have a AC Lite access point that is hardwired into my network; this AC Pro serves as the wireless backhaul uplink for the Mesh AC access point in the garage. I have an additional hardwired Ac Mesh access point on a corner of my house away from the garage to also provide exterior WiFi coverage.
Note as of spring 2022, Ubiquiti appears to be having continued supply chain shortages.
