How to use Uber, how to use Lyft, and where to find a taxi at LAX airport in Los Angeles. As of October 29, 2019, taxis and rideshare services are no longer allowed to pick you in front of the terminal by baggage claim. Instead, the airport has created a Pickup Lot called LAX-it.

This video is a quick introduction about this service with a few points about how to get to this LAX-it lot. You can walk from Terminal 1 (and even Terminal 2, 7, and 8 aren't that far), or you can take one of the brand-new bright green LAX-it shuttle buses that arrive every five minutes.

In addition, the airport has changed the inside lower lane next to baggage claim to be a buses-only lane, for these shuttles.

This video is intentionally very short and formatted for mobile phones for people who need quick information about where to find their taxi, Uber, or Lyft.
