We’ll also be hearing updates from our lab partners and finishing off the event with an open discussion by conference attendees! 12:00pm PT – Jack Sarfatti – AI & Warp Drive Physics Dr. Jack Sarfatti has been working with the Grok AI on new formulations and solutions to warp drive physics issues. He will be presenting on breakthroughs he developed using this system that rely entirely on accepted conventional physical models & formulas, but still facilitate the development of breakthrough physics. This is important not only because of the new physical solutions Sarfatti has generated, but also because it demonstrates that human-AI collaborative development has reached the point of producing viable results. 1:00pm PT – Eric Reiter – Matter Waves Are Not Probability Waves, Live Demonstration In 1929, Estermann and Stern measured a diffraction pattern from Helium upon a crystal that conformed to deBroglie’s wave equation. Thinking in terms of particles, Max Born assigned these wave properties to a non-physical probability wave. The probability interpretation predicts that a helium atom would go one way or another at a beam splitter. In this meeting, Eric Reiter will demonstrate his experiment whereby singly emitted helium atoms can generate clicks in both detectors past a beam splitter at rates exceeding accidental chance. Helium in this experiment are singly emitted alpha rays from spontaneous decay of Americium-241, a radiation source taken from a smoke detector. To exceed chance means we are not dealing with particles transmitted across space. We are showing that everything is thresholded, not quantized. We are showing that helium matter waves must be loading up until a threshold is reached that makes both detectors go click in coincidence. There is still such a thing as a helium atom, but helium can lose that property of holding together and can spread as a matter wave. Eric will also explain with his threshold model how a matter wave can transmit its identity, yet spread as a wave. This threshold model also explains our classical experiments that have been interpreted quantum mechanically. Eric has also refuted the photon model with similar beam split tests employing gamma rays. 2:00pm PT – Curtis Horn – Tribute To Dr. James Woodward Dr. James F. Woodward passed on August 9th, 2025. For decades, he was a highly respected member of the alternative propulsion & emerging physics communities, known globally for his work on the “Mach Effect” and Mach-Assist Gravity Effect (MEGA) Drive. $The VEM Drive: Replication Experiments | Reid Sherman Reid Sherman presents his first APEC talk on independent replication experiments involving the Variable Electromagnetic Drive, or VEM Drive — an experimental propulsion concept developed by David Pares and Quantum Electro Dynamics R&D. Sherman introduces himself as a NASA Nebraska student fellow working out of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where his past year of research has focused on testing the VEM Drive concept. His goal was not to prove the entire theory in one step, but to ask a more focused experimental question: can the reported VEM Drive effect be reproduced independently? In this presentation, Sherman explains the basic idea behind the VEM Drive as he understands it: a system inspired by electromagnetic conditions that may occur during high-energy thunderstorms, using fractal field structures intended to reproduce crossed-field effects and generate a compression field. He then reviews a QED Model 19 demonstration video from December 15, 2023, in which the team reported a 1,500-watt, 30-second test and a pulling force of more than 15 newtons. Sherman then presents his own replication work. After roughly a year of testing, he reports producing repeatable directional movement with his own VEM Drive test setup, including a milestone of 10 successful tests in a row on January 11. He also discusses the practical challenges of early experimental work, including a weak nylon-string mount, alignment issues, sideways dial movement, Faraday-cage testing, and camera interference during RF operation.
