Second day with our rescue cockatoo Libby’s Life 2018-01-28 | This is Velcro a 12-year-old cockatoo that I rescued. His previous owners lifestyle got too busy for him so they couldn’t give him the attention he needed and deserved. He did have a previous injury before they got him and they rescued him and saved his life. His foot got caught in a birdcage and he no longer can use it. So we are excited to welcome him and excited to work with him. This is Velcro’s second day with us. Yesterday he stayed in his cage on his perch.
