I wanted to take a step back and assess what was actually important to me.My fiancée is the biggest anime nerd of all time, and I wanted to build my next project around something she might enjoy and that's how I got started.I'd leverage all the skills I've acquired in the last decade working freelance and within creative studios. Whilst also combining them with some new A.I software; ChatGPT, Stable Diffusion, Automatic1111 and a Diffusion model called AnythingV3.It resulted in a 100 hour grind that would see myself and the A.I create a 20 minute anime franchise concept with over 400 characters, 200 additional concept images and over 49 backstories. Voiced and edited by myself with a little animation help from Capcut.It was only after the video was finished that I came to understand the time commitment and cost of making something like this before these A.I tools existed.I now fully understand why artists are fearful. When it comes to the ethical side, I've asked myself who this project has taken work away from? The answer is no one, I just wouldn't have made this if I didn't have the tools.
