In this lesson, you will learn how to subscribe to Adobe Creative Cloud, install, update and uninstall Adobe After Effects CC using the Adobe CC App which is compatible with Macs or Windows computers.

1. Install: For non-Adobe CC Subscribers:
1. Visit Adobe website and sign up for 7-day free trial
2. Creative Cloud single-app membership or,
3. All Adobe CC Apps
4. Mac or Windows
2. Install: For Adobe CC Subscribers
1. Open the Adobe CC App
2. Select Apps
3. All Apps
4. ‘Available in your plan’
5. Locate After Effects and click ‘Install’
6. Include Cinema 4D (checkbox)

1. Download and installation
2. Accessing the app on Mac and Windows
4. Uninstalling After Effects
1. Good for troubleshooting & fixing issues
2. Open the Adobe CC App
3. Locate ‘After Effects’ in the Installed section
4. Click on the ellipsis (...) and select Uninstall
5. Click on ‘Keep’ in the Preferences dialog box
6. Uninstall
7. Refer to Step 2 for how to reinstall
5. Updates and Auto-Update Settings
1. Open the Adobe CC App
2. Select Apps in the top left corner
3. Select ‘Updates’ in the left sidebar
4. Click on ‘Check for Updates’
6. Opening After Effects
1. Open from the Applications folder or from the Adobe CC App
2. On Macs, drag After Effects to preferred location in the Dock
7. How To Close & Restart After Effects
1. Using the Menu Bar To Open (Macs)
2. Keyboard shortcut (Command/Control + Q)
3. Click After Effects Application to Restart/Open
