Just some random cops (who are not recieving any awards) and don't want to be identified in a public space. They need to know who I am, but that is completely different. Prosecutor Benjamin, from Natchitoches, Louisiana would argue that the cops have a right to know who I am. But nobody has a right to know who they are, especially on Youtube, which is a monetized platform, which is a different organization that sets different rules. I don't want to break the Youtube rules. Although, according to @jimmy_kirk @Exchange_IDs You can blur faces with the YouTube Studio from a computer. If you can access the video and blur the faces on the YouTube Studio, you should be able to appeal it and have the video taken off private mode. You could try to appeal it without blurring any faces, using the defense that they're public officials in their official capacity, and while I've seen cop videos mentioning that their appeal was granted on those grounds, I've also seen cop videos blurred saying their appeal was denied. But if it's blurred, that should appease the appeal. You get your video, and they get their "privacy" with the added bonus of looking even more foolish for filing a privacy complaint as a public official. You could follow up with a civil suit against the public official for monetary loss due to the privacy complaint (since they are a public official), but, that might be costly, and sometimes things like that don't pan out as planned.
