How to install the mod:
1) Open the properties for Resident Evil 7 in Steam
2) Go to the BETAS tab
3) Select the dx11_non-rt item from the drop-down
4) Close the properties. Your game may update.
5) Download REFramework from the above link: You want the file RE7_TDB49.zip (Do not use RE7.zip, it is meant for the DX12 version of the game which won't work as well with this mod)
6) Extract the contents of RE7_TDB49.zip and copy them into the root of the RE7 folder
(Typically C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RESIDENT EVIL 7 biohazard)
7) Start your VR runtimes (Oculus or SteamVR) and then launch RE7. It will hook to your VR headset shortly after starting.

We embark on a new series on the channel: or are we reviving an old one? It's been since 2015 we haven't seen this game. We last played it in VR on the Oculus DK1 and DK2, but Valve's experimental VR support went defunct later in 2016. Carrying on with our drunken virtual reality gaming experiment, we jump back into Borderlands 2 VR and head on our way to meet a disturbingly dangerous child who will make missiles for us so we can unwittingly betray our people. I didn't make this up, the game did!

Some players have stated that Doom 2016 works in geometry 3D with VorpX. This is mostly false: The game feeds one frame to one eye at a time (so left eye first, then right eye, and so on) and thus when you move laterally, the difference between the non-synchronous frames will give the IMPRESSION of running in 3D, but it's quite jarring, and it also comes with vertical stereoscopic offsets which can give a headache. It's a big shame because the game was actually a bit fun to test this way; I can noly imagine how cool a proper adaptation could be!
We pursue in our quest to explore more relaxing facilities such as a building with heavily armored guards, flying circular saws and a vast supply of hazardous items. Come along for the ride as we dive back into this soothing, therapeutic virtual reality masterpiece!

Oculus Link Settings Instructions
Source: uploadvr.com/oculus-link-resolution-increase-odt
1) Start the Oculus App and Oculus Link
2) Open the Oculus Debug app (OculusDebugTool.exe) in C:\Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-diagnostics\
3) Set your pixel scale (Needs to be above 1.0, I use 1.1, you can increase to 1.2 on high end systems)
4) Set resolution width (Minimum 2016, maximum 2784, I use 2448; do not exceed the max)
5) Set Distortion Curvature to Low (This results in sharper graphics)
6) If you restart Oculus, the Pixel Scale will revert to default, remember to set it each time.

For the ninth time, we try a different headset with this legendary VR game, this time being the Oculus Quest through its groundbreaking Oculus Link feature. In addition to terrorizing myself for around an hour we take a quick look at how this headset compares in the second generation virtual reality lineup.

Now that we've played Metroid with the HTC VIVE and the Oculus Rift, let's see how it feels if we upgrade to the Valve Index! Time for some more toe-clenching platforming action and a whole lot of backtracking to get back on course!
What happens when you get too curious and join a part of like a dozen raiders and a few supermutants when you're just trying to have a nice stroll in your virtual reality let's play of Fallout 4 with the Valve Index? You get ambushed, jumpscared, and realize the aim in this game sometimes does strange things that no one but Bethesda devs can explain! Also who the hell builds a city out of a baseball stadium?

Metroid Prime for the GameCube in Virtual Reality through Dolphin VR, either using an Oculus or SteamVR compatible headset like the Rift S, the Quest, the VIVE or the Valve Index and many others is an amazing experience that will take you into a classic console first person shooter that will make you forget the game is two decades old and start believing that it was created for VR!

Come with us and take a walk in the most relaxing, safe facility, a perfect place to relax and eat lunch: a building with barely any lights on, covered in mysterious likely carnivorous growth that has somehow absorbed megatons of hazardous materials, a place in which head crabs and zombies have found comfortable refuge. It's most definitely a must-visit destination for virtual reality travellers!
In addition to basically jumping into Borderlands 2 in virtual reality slightly drunk after drinking a six pack of beer, we also experiment with SteamVR's 120Hz mode for the Valve Index in an effort to improve the video capture framerate - a trick that was recently discovered after noticing SteamVR's Display VR feature has been dropping frames a lot when running at 90Hz.
Now that we've gotten our hands on some laser guns, let's try to see what kind of trouble we can run into! The plan today is to head over to the Gorski Cabin, but obviously we're doing it on foot and it should be a raider, ghoul and monster filled adventure! Time to get in there with the Valve Index for a second time in this virtual reality series! Fallout 4 VR may not natively be a Valve Index game but wow does it run well on it!

Having had the Valve Index for nearly six months now, we've upgraded from first impressions review, to straight up review. We're going to take a look at everything from the hardware, the headset's specs, the knuckles controllers and their capabilities, how to clean and maintain the kit, how to set it up, and what we can do with it in virtual reality on the long run.

It's finally time to try one of the most anticipated VR headlines of the year: Half Life: Alyx. Let's dive right in and get ready to kill head crabs in one of the most important virtual reality games of the year with the Valve Index. It's going to be interesting to see how physical interactions augment this game; hopefully we're looking at the next level of room scale VR especially with the Index controllers.
How to watch the 3D version in VR: youtube.com/watch?v=fMjM2BccFEU
As promised we jump into Borderlands 2 VR full time, and talk about coincidence, 2K pushed out an update for first party Valve Index support along with other improvements. Let's go splatter some brains all over the walls in this nutcase psycho demented shooter and see what's in store for us!
The 2D version of this video features a new technique which results in a much larger image without actually zooming the VR capture. The right-eye VR image is composited over the left-eye VR image with a very subtle stitch line. This should finally maximize the game view without costing a single loss in quality!

It's time to see how well Alien Isolation runs in the Valve Index using MotherVR with a bit of super sampling. We'll start by getting assaulted by Rubbermaid androids and finally get to go replace our pet Xenomorph's water dish which is really hard to do without getting killed.
