ShadowMario3With update 1.2.0 dropping for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet today, I show the new Paradox Pokémon. They are available in 5 star Raids and you can only catch one of each per save. I first take on Iron Leaves, the future version of Verizion with a level 100 Gholdengo and level 100 Perrserker on my Scarlet save. Since it's Psychic and Grass type, steel types are great for this battle.
Afterward, I host a battle against Walking Wake, the past version of Suicune, on my Scarlet save and take it down with two Slowbros. Unfortunately, these two Pokémon do not have Pokédex entries.
Afterward, I head back to Uva Academy to take a look at the Imagined Pokemon section to compare how they looked to their actual forms, then save.

Overall, it was pretty easy to predict how to counter it, but it turns out to have Sing, so you'll want to have an ally with Safeguard (such as Arboliva) to protect you from it. I use Arceus-Steel to wall it and take it down:
Arceus @ Iron Plate Steel Tera Ability: Multitype Modest, 130 HP, 128 Special Attack, 252 Special Defense - Judgement - Calm Mind - Recover (or Electric Terrain) - Acid Spray
The main thing to do is set up 3 Calm Minds so you can start to wall it. With that, you can start using Judgement, because at 85% time remaining, it resets its own stats, and at 80% time remaining, it'll reset yours. Hopefully you are still awake, so you can use another 3 Calm Minds, Recover if needed, then use Acid Spray to charge up your Tera Charge. Once you are ready, a Terastalized Judgement should do a good chunk of damage and help you take it out with east.
If you are having trouble with Sing, you can try using a few heal cheers to wake yourself up, or use Electric Terrain (over Recover) to prevent yourself from falling asleep.Pokémon Violet - Unrivaled Meganium 7-Star Crystal Raid SoloShadowMario32024-04-05 | Unrivaled Meganium has arrived, and it seems to be a doozy. It opens up with Reflect and Light Screen before using Curse to take you down. I use a Skeledirge this time around thanks to its hidden ability, Unaware.
Skeledirge @ Shell Bell Ghost Tera Ability: Unaware Modest, 252 Special Attack and Defense - Torch Song - Shadow Ball - Protect
With Unaware, you will ignore Meganium's stat changes. So all you need to do is use Torch Song until you feel you have enough boosts (I did +4) then use a Tera Shadow Ball. When it resets your stats, you should Protect, then repeat the process until you take it down.Pokémon Violet - Unrivaled Charizard 7-Star Crystal Raid Solo - Second StratShadowMario32024-03-13 | Unrivaled Charizard returns as the last Event Raid for Pokémon Day 2024. The setup is exactly the same as it was when it first appeared back in December 2022. You can see the strategy I used to take it down with Azumarill back then: youtu.be/4seMq7bsH3M
Since it is the same Charizard, if you already caught it back in 2022, you cannot catch it again. It does have better drops this time around, so it might be worth farming it. For this round, there's a much faster method for soloing it. Flutter Mane with the following set is more than enough to take it down:
Flutter Mane @ Covert Cloak EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA Ability: Protosynthesis Tera Type: Fairy Modest Nature - Draining Kiss - Moonblast - Mystical Fire - Fake Tears
Since Charizard immediately nullifies its stat drops, you can lead with three Fake Tears before taking it down with Draining Kiss. Mystical Fire x3 should be useful for lowering its Special Attack in case it hits you, then go back to using Draining Kiss or Moonblast.Pokémon Violet - Unrivaled Blastoise 7-Star Crystal Raid SoloShadowMario32024-03-06 | One week after Venusaur, Mighty Blastoise has arrived! This was is a pretty hard is you bring in a physical attacker due to Iron Defense bringing up Blastoise's Defense to +6.
I ended up bringing in a Volcanion. With Water Absorb, you don't have to worry about Hydro Pump, so you basically just need to use Sunny Day and Flamethrower to take it down. I tried using Haze in the beginning, but it was pointless since Iron Defense would bring it back up to +6. I used Flamethrower, but Weather Ball would have been slightly faster since it has 100 BP over Flamethrower's 90 BP. Here's the setup:
Volcanion @ Shell Bell EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA Ability: Water Absorb Tera Type: Fire (or Stellar) Modest Nature - Sunny Day - Flamethrower - Haze - Weather Ball
If you don't have a Volcanion, Vaporeon might be another good option since it can learn Sunny Day, Weather Ball, and Calm Mind. For the fourth move, you might want to use Haze or Mud Slap.Pokémon Violet - Unrivaled Venusaur 7-Star Crystal Raid SoloShadowMario32024-02-28 | On today's Pokémon Day presentation, TPCi announced that the Kanto starters will appear in 7 star raids over the next few weeks, starting today. Here's the Unrivaled Venusaur raid battle, where I soloed it with a Chesnaught. It's pretty easy since it only resets your stats and ability only once. Bulletproof is necessary since it nullifies Sludge Bomb. Here's the setup:
Even though my Chesnaught wasn't an Adamant nature, I was still able to solo it pretty easy. The main thing you need to watch out for is on the turn Venusaur nullifies your stats and abilities, Sludge Bomb will nearly, or potentially OHKO you. I barely survived here, but Crafty Shield should protect you. Once you get your three Swords Dances up, you can Seed Bomb your way to victory.Pokémon Violet - Unrivaled Empoleon 7-Star Crystal Raid SoloShadowMario32024-02-02 | Here's the Unrivaled Empoleon battle where I soloed it with a Grumpig. This is one of the harder raid battles due to Empoleon's Hidden Ability, Competitive. With it, for every stat decrease it gets, its Special Attack goes up by one stage. Due to AI partners likely using stat lowering moves, Empoleon will quickly sweep you. You can get around this with Simple Beam, through the move is hard to obtain. Here's the setup:
Keep on resetting until none of your partners have Intimidate. Then, use Simple Beam as soon as possible. With that done, you can start setting up and attack with Flash Cannon. I used Mud-Slap four times so it would start missing for a good chunk of the battle, but it turns out I only needed to use it three times. This is because any stat change on a Pokemon with Simple is doubled, so each Mud Slap was lowering Empoleon's accuracy by two.
Then, I did 3 Nasty Plots so I could use Flash Cannon at maximum damage. It'll reset your stats at 80% HP and once again at 50% Time remaining, so make sure to use some more Nasty Plots. Once it erases its own stat debuffs at 50% HP, just keep on using Flash Cannon and you should easily defeat it thanks to Shell Bell constantly restoring your HP.Pokémon Violet Playthrough – Part 17: The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero EpilogueShadowMario32024-01-12 | It seems that there was one final part left for the game, which is the Epilogue for The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero. It is officially available today, so I stop by Peachy’s in Kitakami to see that we can interact with the decoration before we get the event item (1:29). Afterward, I go to Mystery Gift to obtain the Mythical Pecha Berry (1:35). With it, I am able to interact with the decoration in its entirety (3:21), where Arven calls and asks if he can visit our house. Then we see that the decoration has mysteriously disappeared, officially starting the Epilogue.
I quickly fly over there and interact with Nemona, Arven, and Penny. They eventually get invited to go to Kitakami with us, so we meet up at Mesagoza’s south gate (14:24) before heading over there. Once we arrive, we talk to Kieran (18:00), who explains that his sister isn’t feeling like herself. With that out of the way, everyone meets up in the Community Center where we end up looking for the tv remote. After finding it (28:22), we realize that Nemona is missing, so we go look for her. We end up battling two villagers who are inflicted with the same curse as Carmine (30:32), then find Nemona who heads off to Kitakami Hall. We find Kieran’s grandparents there (35:35), and realize that eating a mochi causes someone to be cursed. After battling Kieran’s grandparents, we head over to Peachy’s and see Arven and Penny forced to become cursed by Pecharunt (44:38), so we have to battle them too. With that, we head over to Loyalty Plaza to battle Nemona (54:54), and finally manage to battle Pecharunt (1:05:13). After defeating it, we catch it (1:08:48), which frees everyone from its spell. As the end plays out, I check Pecharunt’s stats (1:12:38), and finally finish the epilogue (1:14:53).
With that completed, I go to everyone’s dorm rooms to see if they have any new bit of dialogue (1:17:19), then head over to the League Club Room to see that Carmine and Kieran have truly returned to Blueberry Academy (1:20:05). Because we completed this event, we are able to invite Nemona (1:22:00), Arven (1:24:25), and Penny (1:26:13) as special coaches. Just like the other special coaches, they cost 200 BP to invite.
With that, the DLC and this entire game is truly complete. I will still upload videos whenever a new Mightiest Mark 7-star raid battle arrives.

I got lucky with having two CPUs with Intimidate, so having at least one would be helpful. Here's the setup:
Slowbro @ Shell Bell 252 HP/Sp. Atk Psychic Tera - Iron Defense - Calm Mind (Nasty Plot is probably better) - Chilling Water - Stored Power
No Slack Off this time. The idea is in the very beginning, you whittle Blaziken's attack to as low as it can go with Chilling Water, which helps build your tera charge count. Once it nullifies your stats, you should start using Iron Defense a few times before switching over to Calm Mind/Nasty Plot. With enough stat boosts (or if your HP gets pretty low), you can switch over to Stored Power to take it down.Pokémon Violet - Unrivaled Iron Bundle 7-Star Crystal Raid SoloShadowMario32023-12-22 | The Iron Bundle raid battle has arrived! It took a bit to figure things out, but for this battle, I used a Goldengho with 252 EVs in Special Attack and Special Defense, Modest Nature, holding a Shell Bell. Its moveset is Light Screen, Nasty Plot, and Make it Rain.
Overall, it will keep on using Hydro Pump on you, so it has a chance to miss. With that, I am able to use Nasty Plot and Make it Rain to victory.Pokémon Violet Playthrough – Part 16: Completing the Blueberry PokédexShadowMario32023-12-16 | I wrap up the DLC in this part. I talk to Amarys at (0:44), which gives Miraidon the ability to fly permanently. Cyrano congratulated me on becoming the champion of the BB League (2:23) and shows that I can now invite Gym Leaders over as coaches for 200 BP each. I go around the Terarium completing multiple BB quests (7:21), which can be viewed by pressing right on the D-pad. I enter the Chargestone Cavern (20:30) and find a Metal Alloy (21:04), which is needed to evolve Duraludon into Archaludon. After that, I head over to the Crysal Pool (21:41) to meet with the past version of Turo. After talking with him, I give him Briar’s book in exchange for Turo’s Violet Book, which completes the time loop which we read in Turo’s journal entry in the Area Zero Underdepths. After he disappears, the game mysteriously resets, and we are introduced to a new title screen with the Violet Book on the desk by itself this time. On reloading the game, I change my clothes and go into Pokémon Home to import my partially complete Indigo Disk Living Dex (33:53). With that, I breed some Duraludons and evolve one of the into Archaludon with the Metal Alloy at (50:15). Then I breed some Applins, evolve it into Dipplin, teach it Dragon Cheer with the TM Drayton gave us, then level it up once to evolve it into Hyrdrapple (1:00:21).
After getting those two new Pokémon, I talk to Perrin at (1:03:56), where she mentions two never before seen Pokémon. I find Iron Crown, the Paradox version of Cobalion, at (1:06:31), and Iron Boulder, the Paradox version of Terrakion, at (1:12:15). Unfortunately, due to a bug (or a feature) in the game, the new Paradox Pokémon have 20 IVs across the board. After catching them, I talk to Perrin again (1:24:08) to complete the quest. Afteward, I import the missing Galarian Slowpoke to my game, then switch over to Pokémon Scarlet to get the remaining two Paradox Pokémon. I find Gouging Fire, the Paradox version of Entei at (1:37:54) and Raging Bolt, the Paradox version of Raikou at (1:49:06). I talk to Perrin once again at (1:56:01) to complete the quest on that save.
As a reminder, for Walking Wake and Iron Leaves, they were only released as an event raid back on Pokémon Day 2023. I show how to catch them back in Part 12: youtu.be/T_o68mwaw20
Hopefully they will return in another event for those who missed them.
Going back to my copy of Violet, I fly up to the giant sphere in the middle of the Terarium and find some rare items (1:59:12), then trade over Scarlet’s Paradox Pokémon to finish my Pokédex (2:05:33). With the Blueberry Pokédex completed, I talked to Cyrano at (2:08:09) where he gives me the Mark Charm for my work. I obtain the Diploma from Clavell as well (2:09:20). Finally, I talk to Snacksworth at (2:10:31), who gives me an Articuno Treat. I’m not planning on getting the Legendaries again since I already have them in my Living Dex, but it’s nice of them to be available in the DLC. With that, the DLC and entire game is fully complete.

I go through the entirety of The Indigo Disk in this video, just to show the story.
Upon loading the game, Clavell gives us a call to meet up with someone at the academy. Upon entering, we meet Cyrano, the headmaster of Blueberry Academy, who invites us as an exchange student. Before heading over there, I get the Master Ball that is currently available online through the Mystery Gift (5:15), then finally head over to Blueberry Academy.
After a brief explanation of the Academy, we have a battle with Lacey (13:24). In the academy, all battles are double battles, and the stronger trainers use pretty decent doubles strategies. We finally enter the Terarium (20:08), which consists of four different biomes with many returning Pokémon.
The first task is to head over to class which is taking place in the Coastal Biome. Upon arriving (35:18), we are tasked with finding an Alolan Pokémon. I simply show the professor an Alolan Golem that I already had in my PC (36:45). After completing the class, we are introduced to Blueberry Quests and Points. We meet up with Carmine and have a battle with her (47:18). Afterward, Drayton makes his appearance and invites us to the Blueberry League Club. After explaining what the club is, he asks us to meet him in the cafeteria (1:00:41), where it’s revealed that he wanted to introduce us to the rest of the Elite Four and the Champion, Kieran so we could get their permission to join the club. After formally joining the club (1:05:58), we can finally start the Elite Challenge.
I end up doing the challenge in order, so I head over to Crispin first. For his trial, we need to cook up a spicy sandwich using ingredients we can only find in the trial (1:14:15). After battling and talking to every gym trainer, I get enough jalapenos, chorizos, and chili sauce to make the super-spicy sandwich (1:25:37). With the trial completed, I finally battle Crispin (1:28:08), who uses a sun team.
After defeating him, I go to Amarys of the Elite Four who is in the Canyon Biome. However, I need to get more BP to compete, so I go around the Coastal Biome challenging trainers. As I am doing that, I meet up with Sinclaire (1:44:53), who is working on a device that lets you sync up with your Pokémon. After completing the trials, she gives me the Synchro Machine (1:47:19) which only works in the Terarium. After defeating five trainers in the Coastal Biome, I get 100 BP (1:59:28) and can finally challenge Amarys (2:01:38). Her trial is much easier to complete, which is to simply fly through an obstacle course (2:04:14). After completing it, I battle her (2:05:47), which turned out to be decently hard since she was able to take out my Skeledirge.
After defeating her, I quickly head over to Lacey’s area in the Coastal Biome (2:20:11). Her trial is a simple quiz (2:20:43), so I’m able to battle her pretty quickly (2:25:19). After a much easier battle, Drayton congratulates us (2:32:54), then I head over to the Polar Biome. I challenge five trainers in the area so I could get enough BP to challenge him, but it turns out that wasn’t needed in the first place (2:58:57). However, Drayton’s trial requires you to use Pokémon you caught in the Terarium, so I catch six Pokémon and quickly train them up before challenging the trainers (3:23:19). It turns out that using Eelekross and Rhydon is more than enough to take down the three trainers, then take on Drayton with my normal team (3:30:43).
With the Elite Four defeated, I take on Champion Kieran (3:45:01) and quickly defeat him. We are crowned the new Champion of the BB League, then get called to Professor Briar’s classroom (3:58:52). Geeta and Rika meet up with us and tells us that we are allowed to go to Area Zero with Briar, Kieran, and Carmine.
After heading to Area Zero, we travel to the bottom and insert the Indigo Disk (4:14:28), which redirects the elevator to go to the Area Zero Underdepths. Upon reaching there, we travel deeper underground, and find out a new Tera Type, Stellar, which is Terapagos’ true power. As we reach the final room, Kieran finds and catches Terapgos, and we have to battle it (4:47:35) before it goes out of control and we battle it at its full power (4:51:29). After defeating and catching it (5:08:08), the ending and credits play, then Briar explains to us that Terastallization is much easier for us due to our adventure, then I save.

It lasts until Thursday, December 21, 2023, where you can get Dialga in Scarlet and Palkia in Violet. Since these are 5-star Raid battles, these are pretty easy to solo on your own. For Palkia, I use Azumarill, and for Dialga, I use Slowbro, though I'm sure Slowbro would be good for the former as well.
Azumarill @ Shell Bell Adamant Nature 252 HP/252 Atk - Play Rough - Rollout - Mud Slap - Belly Drum
Slowbro @sitrusberry_@ Sitrus Berry Modest Nature 252 HP/252 SpA - Iron Defense - Calm Mind - Slack Off - Stored Power
Vs. Palkia (Violet): 0:00 Vs. Dialga (Scarlet): 7:22Pokémon Violet - Unrivaled Hisuian Samurott 7-Star Crystal Raid SoloShadowMario32023-11-24 | The Hisuian Samurott raid battle has arrived! For this battle, I used a Miraidon with 252 EVs in HP and Special Attack, Modest Nature, holding a Terrain Extender. Its moveset is Metal Sound, Parabolic Charge, and Electro Drift. To make this fight much easier, keep on resetting until you get an AI that uses a Pokemon with Intimidate and there is no ally with an Arboliva since you need Electric Terrain on the field.
The strategy is to start off with two Metal Sounds and hope both of them land. It should use Bulldoze to nearly or outright KO you. Once you return, use Parabolic Charge three times to charge your Tera Orb. With that done, a Tera boosted Electro Drift should take out Samurott's shield. As long as the time is above 50%, Samurott won't reset its stats, allowing you to use one more Electro Drift to get the KO.
Overall, took a bit to figure out the strategy since I tried out others like Grass Tera Manaphy and Bellibolt, but it seems this was the easiest strat to use.Pokémon Violet - Mighty Eevee 7-Star Crystal Raid SoloShadowMario32023-11-17 | For this weekend, Game Freak made a 7-star Raid Battle against Eevee along with a Mass Outbreak event where you can easily catch them. Just like the unique Unrivaled Pikachu event back on Pokemon Day, this Eevee has a shield for 100% of its health. Using the tried and true Iron Hands for this event will give you an easy win when you are battling it by yourself. Here's the set I use:
Iron Hands @ Booster Energy Tera Fighting Adamant Nature EVs: 252 Atk and 252 HP - Thunder Punch - Play Rough - Drain Punch - Belly Drum
Overall, it was pretty easy, especially once a Tera Boosted max Attack Drain Punch started to deal a good amount of damage. You just need to take into account that Eevee will likely outspeed your Iron Hands, so you'll need to see how much damage it's doing before you use a Belly Drum.Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Spiny Cup 200cc (Triple Star Rank)ShadowMario32023-11-10 | This time, I go through the Spiny Cup in 200cc. The extra speed makes things a bit wild in Rosalina’s Ice World, and Bowser Castle 3 becomes pretty easy to go through as long as you don’t bump into any walls.
With this, future content for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is finally over. It’s been a long 6 years (9 years if you count the release of Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U). As for future videos, I usually complete the Mirror class offline. If I do end up going for it, I might try beating the Staff Ghosts for the DLC tracks in Time Trial.Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Acorn Cup 200cc (Triple Star Rank)ShadowMario32023-11-10 | This time, I go through the Acorn Cup in 200cc. With the extra speed, you are able to easily make use of shortcuts that usually require mushroom, such as the one in Daisy Circuit.

Start: 0:00 Rome Avanti (Mario Kart Tour): 0:31 DK Mountain (Mario Kart: Double Dash!!): 3:24 Daisy Circuit (Mario Kart Wii): 6:44 Piranha Plant Cove (New): 9:49 Final Results: 13:08Pokémon Violet - Unrivaled Hisuian Typhlosion 7-Star Crystal Raid SoloShadowMario32023-11-03 | The Hisuian Typhlosion raid battle has arrived! For this battle, I used a Vaporeon with 252 EVs in HP and Special Attack, Modest Nature, holding a Shell Bell. His moveset is Calm Mind, Rain Dance, Tera Blast, and Mud-Slap. You can use Surf or Weather Ball in place of Tera Blast for more damage, and Vaporeon has his Hidden Ability, Hydration
The strategy is to start off with a few Calm Minds so you can start tanking Typhlosion's attacks. As soon as it uses Sunny Day, use Rain Dance so your burn will disappear, then you can start using Mud-Slap three times after Typhlosion nullifies its own stats. From here, its shield will likely go up and you will want to start attacking. At 50% time remaining, it'll nullify your team's stats, so you'll want to start setting up three Calm Minds before attacking again, and make sure to use Rain Dance after its second Sunny Day. With that, you should be able to take it out with time to spare.
Just note that if you are using Weather Ball, it'll only have 100 base attack while it is raining. If it isn't, it'll go back to 50 base attack and become a normal type attack.Pokémon Violet - Unrivaled Hisuian Decidueye 7-Star Crystal Raid SoloShadowMario32023-10-06 | The Hisuian Decidueye raid battle has landed, and it seems to be pretty easy to solo compared to the Mewtwo raid battle. For this battle, I used an Eternatus with 252 EVs in Special Attack and Defense, Modest Nature, holding a Shell Bell. Its moveset is Cosmic Power, Recover, Venoshock, and Sludge Bomb.
The strategy is to fire off a Sludge Bomb on turn 1 since Cosmic Power is pointless here. After Decidueye resets your stats, then you can spam Cosmic Power until you are at +4 Defense. You should use Recover whenever you are low on health, then start spamming Sludge Bomb hoping for another poison. Once poisoned, a Tera boosted Venoshock should deal a ton of damage, allowing you to heal with Shell Bell. Keep on using that move until you defeat it.Pokémon Violet Ogre Oustin - All Difficulties Co-OpShadowMario32023-09-18 | I go through the three difficulties in the Ogre Oustin' minigame. Easy difficulty is easy enough to solo on your own, and the reward for completing it once is three Nuggets and an Air Balloon along with unlocking the Normal Difficulty.
Normal is very hard in terms of soloing on your own, so I manage to complete it with two friends. After completing all six stages, I get a Fairy Feather and a Big Nugget along with unlocking the Hard difficulty.
Hard is basically impossible with two other people, and a fourth is needed. Even then, you need to have good RNG in terms of which stage is picked. Thankfully, we end up with a good stage right off the bat and barely complete the minigame at the final second (30:57). With that out of the way, the reward is a shiny Munchlax that arrives with a Crafty Mark. It is even the biggest size it can be, so it can get the Jumbo Mark, which I do not show.
Overall, this is a pretty fun minigame. You just need to play with others if you want to easily beat the higher difficulties.
Easy Difficulty (Solo): 0:00 Normal Difficulty: 3:45 Hard Difficulty: 14:30Pokémon Violet Playthrough – Part 14: Completing the Kitakami PokédexShadowMario32023-09-14 | I first start hunting for Poltchageist before I head over to a shack in the southeast part of the map which contains a shop that sells Syrupy Apples. With both in hand, I am able to evolve Applin and Poltchageist in to their evolved forms, then I go on the hunt for the Loyal Three, who are at the same exact locations as they were in the main story. I find and catch Munkidori at (32:48), Okidogi (47:27) and Fezandipiti (54:08). They have the legendary catch rate, so make sure to bring a False Swiper and lots of Pokéballs.
With most of the new Pokémon obtained, I import all of the returning Pokémon from my Living Pokédex. After importing the Living Pokédex into my copy of Violet, I have 199 out of 200 Pokémon obtained in the Kitakami Pokédex. Now that we have over 150 Pokémon, we can start Perrin’s quest, which eventually leads to you facing and catching a Bloodmoon Ursaluna. First, we battle her (1:17:14) before we find her in the Timeless Woods (1:27:33). A random Ariados appears and I catch it (1:29:24), then we start Perrin’s next test, which is to take a picture of 10 different Pokémon in the Timeless Woods (1:33:29).
After doing so, she is able to pinpoint the location of Bloodmoon Ursaluna and we find it (1:42:06). Its battle is like facing a Titan, so we have to take out down first, but then we are able to catch it with any Pokéball, so I use a Beast Ball on it (1:47:34). With Ursaluna caught, Perrin’s quest comes to a close and I managed to fill out the Kitakami Pokédex. I obtain the rewards for doing so (1:50:27) and get a Hisuian Growlithe from Perrin for helping her (1:53:02).
I find Professor Jacq off Reveler’s Road (1:56:02), who has apparently been there since we started this journey. He gives me an egg (1:57:54) which turns out to be a Piplup (2:02:40). I talk to him once again and he give me a Glimmering Charm (1:58:49) and the Diploma for completing the Kitakami Pokédex (1:59:11), which finishes my journey in the DLC. There is

I go through the entirety of The Teal Mask in this video, just to show the story.
We start off with meeting Ms. Briar, a teacher from Blueberry Academy and a descendant of Heath, the explorer who traveled through Area Zero and wrote the Violet Book. She reveals to us some pages that are not redacted, revealing the disk Pokémon is Terapagos. With that reveal out of the way, we head over to the land of Kitakami. We battle one of the locals, Carmine, and handily defeat her before resting for the day.
On the first day, we are told of our objective, which is to find three signboards around the area, and we battle Kieran (24:52). After traveling a bit, I find the first one at (34:44), which contains part of the folk tale of the area. With that one found, I travel around a bit before finding the second signboard (50:51). With that, Kieran invites us up to the Dragon’s Den, where I experience an unfortunate crash (57:06) and have to restart the game (59:07), losing a bit of progress. I quickly find the second signboard once again (1:03:33) and head up to the Dreaded Den the proper way this time and battle Kieran once again (1:11:46). Afterward, I find out that Croco obtained the newly fixed Itemfinder Mark (1:16:01) and get ready for the festival.
Before we can go there, we have another battle with Carmine (1:20:04). After defeating her, we finally go to the festival and try out the new minigame, Ogre Oustin’ (1:31:44), which is pretty simple to go through. The reward for completing it is the useful Exp. Charm, which increases the amount of Exp. Points your team can get, then we finally continue with the story by meeting the Ogre (1:38:05) and rest for the day.
On the next day, we go to see Carmine and Kieran’s grandfather, who tells us the true story of the Ogre (1:46:30). Afterward, we find the third and final signboard (2:03:33) and have another battle with Kieran (2:03:55). I find the Unremarkable Teacup (2:08:54) before heading back to the center for the night.
On the third day, we meet up with Carmine and her grandfather again (2:12:15) who tells us we need to get a Crystal Cluster from the Crystal Pool. Upon reaching there, we have to take on a Milotic in a double battle (2:19:35) which is pretty easy thanks to Carmine’s Morpeko. Briar mysteriously arrived at the pool before we head back to Carmine’s house, where her grandfather reveals that Kieran stole the mask. After battling him once again (2:27:18), he returns the mask, then the Loyal Three are seemingly revived (2:31:11) and they track down Ogrepon (2:37:28) and steal its masks. We battle Munkidori (2:38:08) and the three of them flee.
With that, Ogrepon starts to follow us around as we track down the three Pokémon by following clues from the town. We also meet Perrin (2:47:43), who is Adaman’s (from Pokémon Legends Arceus) descendant, who asks us to meet her after we register 150 Pokémon in the Kitakami Pokédex. After obtaining the three clues, we find the three of them in a Titan form. Munkidori is at Wisteria Pond (2:54:02), Okidogi is at the Paradise Barrens (3:04:11) and Fezandipiti is at the Fellhorn Gorge after it travels through the cave system (3:13:10). After retrieving the masks from them, we return to the town (3:18:58) where it turns out that Kieran told everyone the truth of the story, and they welcome Ogrepon. The last thing to do is to escort Ogrepon back to its home in the Dreaded Den (3:20:43). We battle Kieran one last time (3:25:00) since he wants to keep Ogrepon for himself, then we take on Ogrepon in its four different tera forms (3:31:11). After defeating it, I catch it in a Premier Ball (3:38:33), and we rest for the day.
On the final day, I battle Carmine one final time (3:43:53) and head back to the community center (3:50:21), closing out this DLC as Briar reveals that she has to head back to Blueberry Academy with Carmine and Kieran early. After a weird ending with Kieran (3:54:10), the DLC comes to an end, and we are given free rein to travel Kitakami. On the next part, I will be transferring my Living Dex into the game so we can start easily filling out the Kitakami Pokédex.

I can't imagine this being done solo right off the bat, so I was able to use a second switch and team up with two friends (one of them being @CollectorTogami ) to take it down, and a support Mew was absolutely needed.
My plan was to spam Mud Slap so most of Mewtwo's Psystrikes would miss as we use Struggle Bug and Acid Spray to lower its boosted Special Attack and Special Defense. Once ten turns pass, Mewtwo will remove negative effects from itself, so two Mews should focus on Mud Slap again while the others do Struggle Bug or a support move.
As you get closer to half health, the support Mew should set up Electric Terrain. If you do not do this, Mewtwo will Rest to restore its HP as it once again remove negative effects from itself. With it unable to restore its HP, we were finally able to finally take out Mewtwo after a long battle. With it, I was able to catch Mewtwo and my Ribbon Master Mew from my Japanese copy of Emerald was able to obtain the Mightiest Mark.
Of course, we came up with this idea as people were thinking up of ideas. It seems that a physical based Mew where it uses Swords Dance and Leech Life could be very effective as well.
Setup: 0:00 Mewtwo Raid: 1:10 Lag: 14:37 Mewtwo Defeated: 14:48 Viewing Mewtwo and Mew Status Screens: 16:04Pokémon Violet - Unrivaled Rillaboom 7-Star Crystal Raid SoloShadowMario32023-07-28 | With a Normal Tera Type Rillaboom being the 7 star raid battle, Corviknight is the perfect matchup against it since it seems Rillaboom spams Low Kick against it.
The main idea is you will Screech three times to lower its Defense. Once that happens, you can try using Iron Defense three times, but you will likely faint, so once you come back, make sure to do Iron Defense three times before you start to spam Body Press. For once, you don't want to Terastalize since it will likely stop using Low Kick once you do. Once its shield goes down, it'll reset its own stats, so do one last screech before you finish it off with some more Body Press attacks.
My Corviknight has 252 EVs in HP and Attack with an Adamant nature, where Attack wasn't really needed in this battle. I gave it a Shell Bell so it can restore whatever health it loses, and the main moves it needs are Screech, Iron Defense, and Body Press. Since I didn't use Roost at all, Power Trip might be good as a fourth slot.Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Cherry Cup 200cc (Triple Star Rank)ShadowMario32023-07-12 | This time, I go through the Cherry Cup in 200cc and obtain a Triple Star Rank. The main idea is you will use at least two Metal Sounds before spamming Flash Cannon for the rest of the battle. As always, you will Terastalize as soon as you can so you can get extra damage with Flash Cannon.
My Heatran has 252 EVs in HP and Special Attack with a Modest nature. I gave it a Shell Bell so it can restore whatever health it loses, and the main moves it needs are Flash Cannon and Metal Sound.Pokémon Violet - Unrivaled Chesnaught 7-Star Crystal Raid SoloShadowMario32023-05-12 | I use the much talked about Annihilape to solo this 7-Star Tera Raid. I basically spam Bulk Up and Cross Chop with Drain Punch to eventually take it down.
Since I realized that it never resets its own stats, Screech would be a very good option in the beginning to make this fight go a lot faster.
My Annihilape has 252 EVs in HP and Attack with an Adamant nature. I gave it a Shell Bell so it can restore whatever health it loses from Chesnaught's Wood Hammer.Pokémon Violet - Unrivaled Inteleon 7-Star Crystal Raid SoloShadowMario32023-04-28 | This 7-star raid battle was pretty easy to solo with an old classic. Just make sure your Iron Hands is a fighting tera type, then you can Belly Drum + Drain Punch away.
My Iron Hands has 252 EVs in HP and Attack and 6 in Special Defense. I gave it an Aspear Berry in case it was frozen, but it turns out I didn't need it for this battle.Pokémon Violet - Unrivaled Typhlosion 7-Star Crystal Raid SoloShadowMario32023-04-14 | This 7-star raid was pretty easy to solo from what I can see. As always, it's great if an AI partner uses a Pokemon with Intimidate. Make sure you have a Roaring Moon with Crunch and spam that attack. Once you faint, you should be able to terastalize, so you will take less damage from Play Rough while dealing more through its shield.
Mine has 252 EVs in Attack and HP, 4 in Defense, and is an Adamant nature.Pokémon Violet - Unrivaled Samurott 7-Star Crystal Raid SoloShadowMario32023-03-31 | Azumarill turned out to be the best Pokémon for me to use in this 7-Star Raid. As usual, Mud Slap is great for lowering its accuracy, then you can start spamming Play Rough until you can terastallize. Having an AI partner with Will o Wisp or Intimidate is helpful as usual.
I didn't have it on mine, but near the end, Rollout probably would have been a much better option.Pokémon Violet - Unrivaled Decidueye 7-Star Crystal Raid SoloShadowMario32023-03-17 | Got pretty lucky with a quick solo kill this time. A maxed out Miraidon with Metal Sound and Electro Drift should be enough to take it down to 1/3 HP before it puts up its shield. Once its up, you keep chipping away with Electro Drift.
This run turned out to be more lucky on my end. If you want to have something more consistent, it might be worth having Reflect on Miraidon. If you have a supporter using Bellibolt, that will be even better since they will have Acid Spray to lower Special Defense and Reflect.Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Boomerang Cup 200cc (Triple Star Rank)ShadowMario32023-03-09 | Finally, I go through the Boomerang Cup in 200cc.

Overall, it isn't too bad since his Tera type is Water. Its turn 0 100% Shield might seem daunting, but Pikachu still has weak defenses. It might be best to have a partner who can use Mud Slap to whittle away Pikachu's accuracy to make things even easier. Some grass types might seem good on paper, but Lurantis seems to be the best due to its ability working extremely well with Leaf Storm, giving you +2 Special Attack per use. You just need to survive to be able to Terastalize.

Greninja will try to go for Night Slash, but that doesn't do too much damage, after an Iron Defense. Unfortunately, Greninja will wipe out your stat boosts pretty early on, so you will need to stack Nasty Plot and Iron Defense afterward. Once you have +6 in three stats, Stored Power will do a good chunk of damage, so you will just need to use Slack Off to restore your health when it is low. If you're lucky, an AI partner might use Seed Power to help you restore health. Hardest part will probably be trying to get hits in since Greninja will eventually use a second Double Team.
Slowbro info:
Slowbro @ Sitrus Berry Modest - Iron Defense - Nasty Plot - Slack Off - Stored Power
252 EVs in HP and SpA. Tera Type is Psychic though I didn't need it here.Pokémon Violet - Unrivaled Cinderace 7-Star Crystal Raid SoloShadowMario32022-12-30 | Here's a setup that will let you easily Solo the new Cinderace Event as long as your partners don't deal too much damage to it. You basically build up Slowbro's Defense to +6 with Iron Defense, its Special Attack to +6 with Nasty Plot. With those stat boosts, Stored Power will nearly KO it. As long as Cinderace doesn't wipe out your stat boosts, a second hit should take it out.Pokémon Violet - Unrivaled Cinderace 7-Star Crystal RaidShadowMario32022-12-30 | The new Cinderace event just dropped, and this one is much harder than the Charizard raid battle, mainly due to Azumarill seems to no longer be useful here since Cinderace has Bulk Up for its defense, so I use two Esparthas (one on a second console).
Its unique ability, Opportunist, is great since it can mimic Bulk Up's stat increases, but each stat increase takes previous time. With 252 HP and 252 Special Atk in EVs, it is able to tank a good amount of hits after hitting it with Baby Doll Eyes, which sharply decreases its attack. Reflect will be even more of a boon, then you can start using either Mud-Slap to lower its accuracy or use Lumina Crash to deal some damage. Once its shield is up and it nullifies your stat increases, you'll want to set up another Reflect before chipping away at its health and finally take it down.Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Moon Cup 200cc (Triple Star Rank)ShadowMario32022-12-08 | Finally, I go through the Moon Cup in 200cc.
