Hello! Ive wanted to do this mashup for a while, but I needed to fix some things first. Anyway, this is a mash-up of the [Jim Henson] Dinosaurs Song, Im the Baby (Gotta Love Me) [with only the vocals], with the [somewhat shortened] Instrumental version of the Hiro-X Song, The Meaning of Truth, albeit said Songs Pitch is 2 semitones lower, though I managed to get the drums/percussions to stay where they were with the help of the vocalremover.org websites Splitter A.I. to isolate the instruments from said song, and Audacity to put the Mash-Up together. Also Featuring B.P. Richfield [the late Sherman Hemsley] singing part of Jimi Hendrixs Purple Haze LOL!
Before I forget, I borrowed ricky2shirts [formerly Pins33ker] Robbie Plays Electric Guitar for Dad clip (hope you dont mind PinS33ker), mostly for comedic effect.

GET BACK TO WORK, YA LAZY GREEN SLOBS... I-I mean, Hello! This is another Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie/Donkey Kong 64-Styled Remix I was working on lately: that of which is a song from the Big Songs Album (where the song Im the Baby, Gotta Love Me! comes from) of the Jim Henson Show: Dinosaurs! If you werent aware of this album before, I dont blame you: I was just as surprised as you are, and I must say, this must be a good part of my childhood that I never experienced until recently, much like with the existence of the Donkey Kong Country Animated series. But enough about me, LOL.
This remixed song of said album is called Poor Slobs with Terrible Jobs. I think it might be among the best songs of the album, in no small part due to its warning message(s), clever rhymes and wordplay (IMO), and its rather obvious [yet mildly painful] relatability. The instrumentation in the OG Track was ripe for the Kirkhope-64 Soundfonts Treatment (as Id like to call the soundfont grouping of Banjo-Kazooie, Banjo-Tooie, and Donkey Kong 64): and so I made this remix, complete with some Rusty Bucket Bay Sound Effects that Im sure youll recognize. Yes, I understand (and acknowledge) that the game itself is widely considered to be the worst Simpsons game ever (and that of video games in general), but the audio tracks, both the soundtrack and the voice clips, no doubt impress the fans as its One or So redeeming qualities, right?
The only Battle Theme that is an exception to this Video is the Itchy & Scratchy Battle theme [Sorry!] (which is basically just a near-endless loop of xylophones, etc.), which was composed by Alf Clausen.
In any event, I hope you enjoy my endeavors to recreating these Custom-MIDI themes in East-West Instrumentation (and some others, including some Wah-Wah Guitar Sound Effects and 8-Bit Game Boy Soundfonts in a few remixes), and I hope you enjoy These Remixes, on what seems to be The 23rd Anniversary (that is, on April 13, 2001, in North America) of an otherwise, erm... underwhelming(?) game.
