H.E.M.A. stands for Historical European Martial Arts, and we are a Guild of sword, fencing, fantasy, and historical enthusiasts who enjoy the sport and community that it entails.
This video represents the spirit of one of our weekly sessions where we stretch, practice drills and footwork regarding the longsword, as well as the new concept for that week. At the end, all the gloves are thrown off (Or put on more like) and we fence! Either with that weeks concept or throw in some interesting weapon or stupid idea we come up with, from sword and shields to sickle vs billhook.
We are community run, and focus on enjoying the sport while learning the proper skills. We'd love for more interested people in the guild, and if you're curious, talk to one of our members about it!
