So this was a different type of IC. Instead of all of us editing to the same song, we got a week to try something new. My try something new was to edit to a fast paced rock song and try to somehow make a mash-up of Tales of Xillia, Kingdom Hearts, Yakuza, and Devil May Cry look good in a video. So this is the result! So the day after last years SoRiku Day, Myra and I decided to do a collab for SoRiku day 2020. First we thought maybe AmaLees version of Dearly Beloved, then Hurt For Me. THEN when Linkin Park released a 20th Anniversary edition of their first album Hybrid Theory, I was in a HUGE Linkin Park mood bigger than ever and I got sad SoRiku vibes from their song My December. So thats how we got here. LOL

Sooooo its been almost a year since I edited to ODAAT for a MEP part, but editing Syd for this Rounds Contest was the best.
The theme was edit to relate to your sexuality/gender identity.
So big reveal (not a lot of people know this but), I actually am non-binary (Hence why I picked to edit Syd from ODAAT for this round of the contest). I do not mind she/her pronouns (especially if you knew me for ages) but I do ultimately prefer they/them pronouns.
I relate to Syd from this show because she is insecure about herself as a person. Sometimes in her relationship with Elena even, she feels like Elena is the cool person and she is the boring loser.
I am a genderqueer boring loser in my mind and I guess I edited this video as a representation of me because I need to tell myself I am beautiful for being me and I cannot let my mind or others get the best of me.
