Shaft Keys - Types of Shaft Keys | Introduction with Animation | Machine Design

These are various types of Machine Shaft keys:
Sunk Key, (woodruff key, feather key, gib-head key)
Saddle Key,
Tangent Key,
Round Key,
Splines,

Key is on the important machine element that is inserted (in Keyways Or slot cut) between Hub & Shaft
in order to prevent the relative motion between them.
