Type 56 is most recognizable by its full-circle front sight.
Most Type 56 rifles in games are not genuine, but rather a mix of different AK variants.Some game developers probably didn't want to include a real Type 56, and instead used a generic AK-47 look-alike that just happens to resemble a Type 56 more closely.
