Tyler’s studies at the School of Jazz have immersed him in NYC's world-changing jazz scene and a new universe of creative collaboration—a solid basis for launching a career in music.

The prominent musicians Tyler once followed online now help him develop his skills and find the creative collaborators he needs to jump-start a life in jazz performance. His circle extends far beyond the College of Performing Arts and the School of Jazz, though: Peers in undergraduate programs at Parsons and Lang also inspire and support him. For Tyler, it’s just one of the benefits of studying in a university community that comes together to bring about change.
