In this video, we will explore two variants for tying the two half hitches knot.

The first variant is the one that is commonly taught and can be found in most knot-tying resources. The second variant is a lesser-known technique that my sailing instructor showed me, but never fully explained.

Throughout the video, I will demonstrate how to tie both variants and show the differences between them. I will also show that despite the differences in technique, both variants result in the same knot.
