TWO OF US by Joe Hisaishi, extract from the Album "Shoot the violist - Ensemble" from 2000. All rights belong to him. This is the arrangement I’ve made, I apologise for any mistakes.

This song is the main theme from the Film "Chizuko's Younger Sister" directed by Nobuhiko Obayashi in 1991. The OST was performed by Joe Hisaishi. It was part of the collection album "Sound Theater Library" of the anime Kojika Monogatari, published the same year.
Later, Hisaishi covered this theme several times : with the London Philharmonic Orchestra among other pieces being part of his album "Work I" from 1997, and on other occasions.

The film plot takes place in Mukaishima Island and in Fukuyama city in Japan. It showcases the touching story of two sisters, Chizuko and Mika Kitao. It was inspired by the novel of Jirō Akagawa, "Futari".
