When creating a tarp shelter, survival shelter or just camping with a tarp there's some basics. A ridgeline goes down the center of the tarp. The guylines are what pulls the sides taut. Often times to stakes or sometimes to other trees. In this video I show how to set up two different tarp roofs with no guyllines, only ridgelines. Its more work but theres not as many lines to trip over or bump into at night.
