Shocking moment angry dad confronts two men ‘stealing flowers and teddies from Manchester bombing victim memorial’
Mark McNally recorded himself marching over to the men, demanding they return the floral tributes to their rightful place.
The 43-year-old can be heard telling the men to put back the bouquets, with the pair claiming they thought the flowers were nice and didn’t know what they were for.
Speaking out after the incident, Mark said: “I was raging inside but luckily I kept it together well. I was so angry with it all.
“It just goes without saying that even a child would know what it was there for.”
The engraver said he had been heading back from his local pub in Stalybridge, Greater Manchester, when he first spotted the men walk away from the memorial with flowers and a blue Smurf toy in their hands.
In the video, the men can be seen sitting on a bench as they speak to Mark, who is quick to tell them to put the flowers back.
The memorial had been built in memory of the 22 victims who were killed in the bombing.
