In this artistic double feature, two little frogs leap from two different worlds — one from Mio Mao’s imaginative clay, the other from Quaqquao’s colorful paper cutouts. Two materials, two textures, two “skins” for the same playful idea.

Both animated at Misseri Animation Studio, pioneers of stop-motion since the 1970s, these short films explore how a simple creature — a frog — can express wonder through different techniques and materials.
