This is Africa: Part 2.
After finally making it to Zimbabwe and flying the Air Rally in Part 1, we’re back at Sling Aircraft HQ in Tedderfield, South Africa with a rare thing on the schedule: no border crossings, no customs stops, and no big travel plan for the day.
Naturally, Riaan has an idea.
In this episode, we go banner towing over Johannesburg, visit the incredible Jonker Sailplanes factory, make an unplanned stop to meet a young Zebra, and begin the next major leg of the journey south toward Plettenberg Bay and Cape Town.
Along the way, Chris and Keelyn join the adventure, Chels and I get a little time to breathe, and the trip starts to shift from “we made it to Africa” into the rhythm of actually exploring it by air. 🌍
