I think it's sadder if Lewyn loved his family and would not have, through his own volition, left his family!! The main guy in this video is Mazin, who's my Magi OC. He's a member of Al Thamen, a water type specialist who mostly makes/works with magical inventions. He's had a string of bad relationships, and has long grown disillusioned with Al Thamen's main goal but doesn't know how to leave, blaming both Fate and Anti-Fate for what he's been through when he can't pinpoint which one led to this.A thousand years in the past, Mazin was happy. He was part of Solomon's Resistance in Alma Torran, and he had a good boyfriend. However, when the war against David and his Church was over, they ended up on different sides - his boyfriend still believed in Solomon and his goals, while Mazin, of course, went with Al Thamen.Mazin's old boyfriend was good. The best Mazin ever had. But he completely failed to even try to understand Mazin's distress over the death of his mother, a woman who frankly wasn't very good and sided with David's Church until her death - but Mazin had yet to come to terms with this, and still cared for her deeply. They came face to face in the fight of Alma Torran vs Al Thamen, and perhaps Mazin could have won - but he was always soft at heart and hated fighting, and in the end he ran away rather than face him.A thousand years later, Mazin has a new boyfriend, Ithnan. It's a good relationship. The healing power of gay love, etc. Still, Mazin worries. There's history he has, history he's not sure he wants Ithnan to find out. Yet sometimes, Ithnan looks at him, and Mazin wonders if he knows.Ithnan for his part has no idea! He just loves his boyfriend. Thinks he's cool.
