I said it on multiple occasions, it took time for the show to find its rhythm and interesting stories after Laura's case was resolved. I think they finally found them : Windom Earle is clearly the new big investigation Cooper and his friends are gonna work on, and almost all characters are now evolved on a new narrative arc. And we FINALLY (I hope, please) the story between James and Evelynn, with a better end than the one announced in the previous episode, but not that much that I'll say that it was a necessary, useful or interesting story.
I thought Windom and Leo could be friends, that being both crazy and involved in a revenge story, they would maybe work together but no. Leo is clearly becoming Windom's slave. But that thing at the end ? Windom is gonna capture and torture one of our girls ? It's really bad. We also have an entire thing to follow with Thomas Eckhardt trying to have Josie back, Catherine who wants to use that but she doesn't reveal all of her cards…
