First off, I want to make it quite clear that I did not discover CD streaming or getting to the forest temple early. I am merely presenting it in an easier to see video quality and hope it will be a help to anyone still wanting to mess around with stuff like this. FierceMaster's original video for Wii is here: youtube.com/watch?v=AEVjY0ywew0

You might find it easier to defeat the two bokoblins guarding the cage with Talo and the monkey. If one of the enemies is too near the spot where you place Epona, it will make her nervous and she may pop up onto solid ground again.

To CD stream, you have to pause right when the game is loading an area, take out the disc, insert it again, unpause and then head in the same direction you see me take in the video.

Once out of bounds (oob) with Epona, follow the same path I did. You need to get her to rear up on the solid ground of the exit point that leads to Hyrule Field, but don't get too close to the gate or you'll hit the loading zone. Then you need to take her over to the hilly area just north of Coro's house, get her to rear up and get onto the solid ground again. You want to ride her back out of bounds at that spot between the trees that I specify in the video. If the level at which Epona is at is too much lower or higher, that will be a problem.

Once you've done that, ride Epona to the red marker shown on your map, just as I do in the video. Dismount and you will void. Go to N. Faron on foot and if you've done everything correctly so far, you should find Epona below ground level near the entrance to the Forest Temple. If she is in an optimal spot, you might want to save at this point so you don't have to go through the previous process again. Pay attention to which side of Epona you mount on. In this case I mounted her on the left side, which means Link would also dismount on her left side.

You'll need to get her higher up before you can actually get into the temple, though, so just follow my movements in the video. You'll bring Epona to solid ground, ride her uphill a bit and then oob at a higher level than you were previously. Make your way back to the Forest Temple. There are some walls with collision that seem invisible from one direction, so you'll want to take a very similar path as I did.

When you get near the entrance to the temple, you want to make sure Epona does not fall down into the loading zone, as she cannot be loaded into the Forest Temple and the game will kinda just lock up. You want to get her parallel to the loading zone. Getting lined up fairly well with that large post is helpful. You also want to be sure not to be too near the rocks, for if you land on them you'll void. If you mounted on Epona's left side, you'll want to be to the left of the loading zone, as I am in the video. If you mount on her right side then you'll want to go over to the right side of the loading zone. Once your position seems right, just dismount and swing your sword to give you a little extra oomph in the right direction. Hopefully now you'll be in the Forest Temple early!

It's a good idea to save once you get inside. You also do not want to leave the Forest Temple by its exit, as the rocks on the outside will cause Link to void until he dies, and you'll respawn at the beginning of Faron Woods. The best way to leave is to get Ooccoo and warp out. This is the most useful part of getting to the Forest Temple early, for Ooccoo Jr. can warp you back no matter where you are.

You can get the boomerang and save all the monkeys, or none of that stuff. It is also entirely possible to defeat Diababa. However, Faron Woods is in a different state after the boss and Talo is no longer there. So if you want to fight the boss just for the fun of it, just don't save afterward.

Next, I have a video of leaving the forest early in a couple of different ways: youtu.be/9Qh4ZZGO-FE
And another video on CD streaming to Kakariko Village to kill the Twilit Messengers there: youtu.be/OjyqHju8DpY

An alternate version of Early Forest Temple you could do if you do Back in Time (BiT) with infinite bomb arrows. If you save during BiT, then you can start a BiT file with bombs and the bow already in your inventory. You could just blow up the rocks in front of the Forest Temple. However, because it is a BiT file, this would require you to do sword and shield skip, which is pretty darn tricky, especially if you've never done it before.
