A year long passion project.

And now, about this project:

It's crazy, but I recently reached 12 years of doing this silly little covers and videos and as goofy as they are, I've enjoyed my time making them.I've come to a time though where there a lot of other things going on in my life, and it's come to a point where I know realistically I just don't have the time or motivation to make a "big" video anymore; I'd much rather spend that time doing other things now and I've come to terms with it. But nevertheless, I wanted to just do one more really BIG project. Something that really feels like an opus of sorts and a finale of hugely efforted "YTPMVs" from me.

Back in December of 2022, I was relistening to surasshu's album "24" while on a walk one day and the idea just kind of hit me like a truck. It was then and there that I decided to YTPMV the entire surasshu album. The end goal being to create something that I felt represented me and my videos. I hope I have achieved that. Once the idea was set, it was a perfect storm of ideas that came to me and so in January I set to work.

I've worked on this pretty much up until the day before I uploaded this so my apologies for no premiere or anything really special. I really wanted to make sure it was exactly how I wanted it to be so I took my time.

As for what's next? Honestly, I can't fully say. I do know for sure that YTPMV will be taking a backseat from now on. I will not say I am "retired" or "never making another video" because in the words of the infamous Spazza tweet years ago "you are here forever", but I can also say that this might be my last upload for a while (at least on this channel). Most likely, I'll be working on music things at this point as well as continuing my evergrowing interest in archiving media. I'll still be around though!

I know in the grand scheme of things this entire description is a bit silly and I know some folks will probably meme my long ass diatribe since I'm talking super serious and mushy about stupid little cover videos where we push + and - and make people sing or do the kick drum, etc. I'm fully aware. But, I can't help it. This community and these stupid videos are a part of my life and have been for over 10 years so yeah, I'm gonna have a soft spot for this goofy shit.

To anyone and everyone in this community that I have met over the years:
