The August meeting of the Public Services working group featured a panel discussion about the impact of a new set of FAA rules, the Modernization of Special Airworthiness Certification (MOSAIC). These rules that take effect on Oct. 22 will expand the definition of Light Sport Aircraft and will impact V/STOL, electric propulsion and the advanced air mobility industry.
