In todays video we will be having a look at how to display notifications on your TV using Home Assistant. You will need to be using an Android TV or Fire TV device. This will allow you to simply send notifications as an overlay on the screen. I will be showing a simple notification and also a notification with an image. You can send a notification to the screen from a script call, a scene or automation.
One thing to note, in this video I interchange between the term Fire TV and Fire Stick. I am using an Amazon Fire Stick 4K in the video.
Trialing something new with the Janky end screen :P I will correct it in the next video.
