If you know you want an image in your document, but don't yet know what image you want to use, you can use a different image as a placeholder.
Simply put an image in and re-size it to the format you desire. Then when you have the image you'd actually like to use, simply use Change Picture. The new image will be set to the same height as your placeholder, and the width will be adjusted if necessary, while maintaining the proper aspect ratio.
