Book Construction, Book Concertina is made from: three pieces of thin card 120 g or 100 g cut 8 2/8 inches by 4 6/8 inches or 21 cm by 12 cm. Fold each piece in half and half again to make concertina. One piece of thin card for spine cut 2 1/8 inches by 4 6/8 or 5 cm by 12 cm. Make a 1/2 cm spine fold at centre. Cut two covers from thin card cut by 6 1/8 inches by 4 6/8 inches or 12 cm by 15.25 cm.
Designer paper 20 sheets of 6x6 inches will give you approx enough to make up to three books once cut. Cut Eighteen by 2 inches by 4 6/8 in designer paper. For the front and back covers cut two by 6 inches by 4 7/8 or 11.5 cm by 14.5 cm from designer paper. This can be made smaller if you wish for a bigger border.
