Here's my workflow for creating a simple smooth pad with the Prophet REV2 synth. It applies to every synthesizer: I'm making use of the low-pass filter envelope, then I use a couple of LFOs to create some movement and texture to the sound, all explained with notes in the video. Hopefully you'll find it useful.
Since you can load one FX only per layer, I decided to use that slot for the Chorus and use an external pedal for the reverb (Strymon BigSky).
