Blender is a free, open source software you can download at blender.org/download

Blender v2.81 update: At 05:35 in the video - if you're using Blender v2.81 or later, make sure to use the 'Distance' output of the Voronoi Texture node instead of 'Color'. This will correctly displace the surface identical to the results of this tutorial.
