In this first video in the series I introduce vectors as simple points in space.
This series is a modern take on teaching linear algebra, introducing code as an aid to understanding the work, and checking the results of our calculations. Linear algebra is at the heart of so much of what we do with mathematics in real life, especially in deep learning (artificial intelligence). If you want to dive straight into deep learning look at some of my playlists).
Since our topic is symbolic in nature, I use what is in my estimation the best coding language for symbolic mathematics, the Wolfram Language.
You can work along with pencil and paper or code along by signing up for a free Wolfram Cloud account. Just Google Wolfram Cloud. For a reasonable monthly fee, you can also subscribe to Wolfram One (Google it). This allows you to download a desktop version of the software fro the same price as a couple of coffees (like in the old days when we could go out for a coffee).
This is not a series to teach you how to code in the Wolfram Language. It merely helps in explaining the mathematics. If you want to learn the language, take my Udemy course at udemy.com/course/mathematica . It is almost always on special, so costs almost nothing.
