MrThunderwing | Tutorial: How to enable Force Feedback in MAME and Teknoparrot (Version 2) @MrThunderwing | Uploaded November 2022 | Updated October 2024, 57 minutes ago.
Get the FFB plugin from here:

One thing I didn't mention in the video is that the GUI needs Visual Runtime Files to operate. There's an all-in-one package you can download from here to make sure you're up-to-date: techpowerup.com/download/visual-c-redistributable-runtime-package-all-in-one
Cut and paste the info below into your mame.ini file.

If you know your way around the command prompt, you can get MAME to auto generate an ini file by by navigating to your MAME folder and typing in 'mame -cc'
If your exe is name mame64 you'll probably need to type that instead of just mame.
Thanks to Boomslangnz, Ducon2016, Spazzy & pinkimo for creating the FFB plugin and all the other people who've contributed.
