This tutorial will teach you how to use the thread Fuzzy Stuff to add a fuzzy, sparkly beard to your Prairie Schooler santa, or another cross stitch piece that could use some sparkly and fluffy embellishment.

This method works best with longer stitches, so consider the size of the area to be stitched: a beard is perfect, small furry cuffs can be a bit difficult.

All materials used in this tutorial (Fuzzy Stuff, color FZ15 and #22 chenille needle) are included in the coming Prairie Schooler santa holiday kits, available on November 12 from katie-strachan.com/shop If you are working on a different project, you can find the full color range of Fuzzy Stuff from Needle in a Haystack or your LNS: needlestack.com/WebStore/Thread/RG_Fuzzy.html#FuzzyStuff

The full conversion for the 2020 Prairie Schooler santa can be found in flosstube 76: youtu.be/kbbFzjzBjpo
