So, this video was filmed back in Summer 2014. What you are about to watch really happened. Read the whole description for the complete story.

Backstory to this Video:
My Mom, our puppy Shadow, and I decided to go to the park one day in July. I decided to take my camera with me. Little did I know, I would get to film something pretty amazing.
I ended up finding a Rock Turtle that was trying to make its way back to the water, but was almost some crows dinner. Though my mother and I tried to pick it up to move it to the water (which it didn't like, so we stopped), Shadow tried to keep the birds away.
Well, what do you think happened next when Shadow decided to meet this turtle? She started cheering it on, by barking at it, so that it would get safely back to the water as well as keeping the birds away. She was a little frightened of the turtle, it was the first one she had ever seen, but I also think she was concerned for its welfare as she made sure it fully got to the water before she would leave it alone.
