I played this level so many time when I was a kid...too many times...hundreds of times. This song will be forever burned into my brain.

I liked this level more than any other, I think it was just the atmosphere of it, the gold-ish city and everything, some of the other levels could be a bit drab. I would activate the cheat codes, warp straight to the River of Souls, play for a while, and then quit. I did this all the time...I think I only actually beat this level once in my life, must not have been very good at this game!

I always knew this level as "River of Souls" but apparently, the actual title of this level is "Slaughter By The River of Souls"...pretty metal
