In today's hectic world we are used to computers which never shut down and phones are literally taking over our minds. So it's no wonder that we often just ignore that fact that our brain still needs a shutdown button.

We are souls with emotions and we still need to utilize our naturally given shutdown buttons: sleep, rest, imagination, creativity, expression.

Since the dawn of humanity people had used their voice, the ability to sing, and musical instruments to express a range of emotions in their daily lives. So why do we treat musical expression today as a luxury or nice-to-have feature or in worst case as a tool to impress or manipulate others, rather than a basic emotional need we all need to satisfy?
