One thing to also mention is to make sure you test your laser engravings before you do it on your final product. It took me about a day to figure out what the correct settings were and a bunch of scrap pieces of wood before it actually started my official engravings. So don’t just jump right into engraving, make sure you practice using it and testing it out first. If you’re having trouble getting a clear engraving try to change the focus point of your laser or raise your Z height up or down.
