Of all the things you could do to change the sound of your baritone ukulele, surely this is the easiest and most dramatic. Simply put a capo on the 7th fret! You can play regular GCEA chords and your instrument will have a higher voice than most soprano, concert or tenors. Baritone ukes will require a guitar capo. If you want a similar sound for other size ukes, put the capo on the 2nd fret. For smaller ukes you can use guitar size or ukulele size capos.
