Many people get ‘distracted’ by optimising their focus without knowing what to use it for. If you don’t know what to direct your attention towards, focus is useless. Being able to press the record button on a camera is one thing, using the footage to tell powerful stories is another. Focus is knowing HOW to direct your attention. Clarity is knowing WHAT to focus on. The ability to focus becomes infinitely more valuable if you have a good purpose for the skill.
