Chain Mail is one of the most rewarding jewelry making techniques. It takes a minimum of tools, is easy to learn, and you only need a few jump rings to get started.
Learning the Shaggy Loop weave is a great way to get started and the earrings you make are fun, unique, and very wearable. Add a few beads, and you have jewelry that was once worn by royalty.
Materials needed to make the earrings
• 26 jump rings 3/16 inch, inside diameter, 18 gauge,
• 12 jump rings, 5/32 inch inside diameter, 18 gauge
• 26 seed beads, size 6/0
• 2 ear wires
Tools:
• 2 pair of pliers (any combination of flat nose, bent nose, chain nose)
