Want to run your favorite Android apps and games on your Ubuntu PC? Waydroid is the best option for running Android apps on Linux systems using the Wayland display server. If your system runs the Xorg display server, you’ll need to switch from Xorg to Wayland before you can install Waydroid. After that, you’ll need to follow the Waydroid installation instructions for your Ubuntu Linux distribution. Once Waydroid is installed, you’ll need to take a few steps to start using Google apps and services including PlayStore. After doing that, youll be able to install apps from PlayStore and run APK files using Waydroid commands. So, lets see how to install Android apps on Ubuntu using Waydroid.
