I saw a picture of this come across my Facebook page and having an old washer sitting around waiting to be scrapped I thought I'd try it out.

I'm starting with a front load washer that has a stainless steel basket inside. Getting the basket structure out took about 30 minutes total with just a drill and a sledge.

In part two I'll remove the basket from the assembely and part three will be turning it into an actual fire pit.
