Last year was the hardest year of my life. I lost my person.

Grief is perhaps the strongest emotion I’ve ever felt. For 6 months, I let it wash over me…relentlessly.

It’s a new year, so I’m trying to swim in something lighter. Trying not to drown or tread, but rather swim with ease and flow. Mom would want that.

As a storyteller, I let the creative process take over in hopes for some healing. I asked for her guidance and I found her voice (literally).
