Turkiye’s top diplomat Hakan Fidan says a regional defense pact that involves Pakistan and Saudi Arabia is not against any country and open to others, including Egypt. Turkiye hosted Saudi Arabia and Pakistan at the first ministerial meeting of the countries' new regional defense pact, the Makkah Joint Defense Agreement, signed earlier this month.
